Evening Sugarpuffs ♥
I want to say a HUGE hello to all my gorgeous followers ... old & new ... im looking forward to reaching 100 then im gonna do my very first giveaway :)
Hope you've had a fantastic monday :) i did, i went to the gym bright and early and i was feeling pretty optomistic so i hopped onto the scales and to my suprise i'd lost 4lbs since last monday ... i was so happy i actually squealed then got quite a few funny looks, so i felt the need to then tell everyone why i squealed quite loudly lol :S oh well they can all share my happiness on a wet dull monday morning!
Anyway back to the title ... L'occitane hand cream, so ive been using this lil baby for around 2 months now.
I love the packaging, its so simple yet chic.
So what L'occitane say about the product -
HAND CREAM : Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super creamy balm penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturize hands. Honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are blended with shea butter to create this extremley effective care. The Rich texture is rapdily absorbed to leave the hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, Apply day and night as needed.
A quick description of Shea Butter (sorry if you already know) -
Shea Butter can provide relief from everything from just dry skin to many minor dermatological diseases (if you have a serious skin condition, you should see a doctor). It has been clinically shown to provide benefits. Here are some of the benefits of Shea Butter for the skin:
- Dry skin relief
- Skin peeling, after tanning
Blemishes and wrinkles
Itching skin due to dryness
Sunburn
Shaving cream to reduce razor irritation
Skin cracks
Soften tough skin on feet (especially heels)
Stretch mark prevention during pregnancy
Minor burns
Eczema
Sun and wind protection
Even skin tone
Reduce blemishes and scarring Preventing bumps after shaving
Reducing acne (especially in combination with African Black Soap)
Absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue
Helps restore elasticity to skin
Restores luster to hair
All that from a cream :) I think im gonna try and hunt down a face cream with shea butter as if it helps to even skin tone thats a winner for me ... also to reduct stretch marks ... i need a body lotion too !
So back to the L'occitane hand cream
Its packaged in a metal tube (kinda reminds me of toothpaste, the way you squeeze it from the bottom lol) i like this style of packaging as its different, its not your usual plastic tube.
The cream its self has a thick and creamy consitency
Which seems to melt into your hand ...
My verdict - Ive been using this cream after everytime i wash my hands and the product soaks into my skin very quickly and isnt greasy or leave any residue on my skin which is something i like. I cant really put my finger on the smell of the product, it reminds me of E45 cream i think? but im not 100% on that. Around my cuticles i get alot of cuts, when i say cuts its more like nicks on my fingers, its something ive suffered with for a very long time, when i was younger the dr used to blame it on me biting my nails but i gave that up over 15 years ago! Ive found that this cream is really helping them, it softens my skin and ive hardly had any at all around my nails.
Overall im very happy with this product, i think it was about £15 from John Lewis which i think is a pretty resonable price, because like i said earlier ive been using this for around 2 months and theres still a third left so really its only like £5 a month, also its been on my desk at work and alot of the girls have been using it too ... so it probably would last alot longer if its kept in my bag lol!
Whats your favourite hand cream? Do yo change your hand cream in the summer and winter?
*huge hugs & kisses*

This is a very interesting blog and so i like to visit your blog again and again. Keep it up.
